Misty Talley is an accomplished editor, director, and experienced post-production supervisor. Known for her expertise in post-production she has edited more than 30 (and post-supervised more than a dozen) feature films in her home of South Louisiana. A lifelong cinephile and genre film enthusiast, she’s directed 4 shark films for the Syfy channel (Zombie Sharks, Ozark Sharks, Mississippi River Sharks, Santa Jaws) and edited an array of monster movies, horror films, science fiction flicks, dramas, and documentaries since the start of her film career in 2009, including the third installment of the Jeepers Creepers Franchise. With her extensive experience in visual effects-heavy edits, a specialty of hers is VFX editing for networks such as AMC (Mayfair Witches) and FX (The Answers - Darren Aronofsky pilot). This visual effects expertise serves her well not only in editing, but on projects where she is directing, producing, and supervising. Her philosophy on filmmaking is that with a focus on post-production no matter the budget any movie can be a big movie.
